Worship Style & Beliefs
Worship at Redeemer

The worship of God is a simple, yet multifaceted and profound, privilege that we enjoy. We gather together each Sunday morning to worship our triune God through song, prayer, the preaching of the Word, and the celebration of the sacraments.

We worship on Sunday mornings through various musical styles and genres, "singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs" (Colossians 3:16), meeting with God, seeking a living balance of relevance and reverence before Him.

There are many ways to describe our style of worship: blended, reformed, and God-focused are a few. Each Sunday our worship is laden with thematic threads that echo the passage of Scripture being preached that day in a way that transcends musical styles. Some songs we sing are newly written. Others are centuries old. We may profess together words penned millennia ago or spend time pouring out our present petitions and prayers of confession to our eternal Maker.

Some songs are accompanied by a piano, others by a guitar or an entire team of musicians and vocalists. Occasionally a choir will be heard on a Sunday morning at Redeemer, leading our minds and hearts to dwell upon our Triune God.

The age of the song is not what matters, nor the instrumentation, for even the Bible is ancient in itself, yet is today ever living and active.
